Derek Van Diest is a sports reporter with the Edmonton Sun. He’s been member of the Sun since 2005, covering a number of different sporting events around the city and abroad for the newspaper. He’ll be attending the FIFA World Cup as a fan and chronicling his adventures in this blog.
